Turbine is lifting the NDA curtain on the Beta of DDOU as of today. All players will be able to not only discuss elements of the changes coming, but those outside of the beta will be able to read the forums, if not be able to post. Patience made the following post:
DDO Unlimited NDA Lifted!
Greetings, DDO Beta Community! We want to express our gratitude for the dedication you’ve shown to DDO, and for all of the great feedback you’ve given us throughout the past few weeks of beta. Your input has been invaluable, and we look forward to hearing more of your feedback in these final weeks before release (can you believe it’s so close?).
Now that we’re closing in on launch, it’s time for some changes in the Beta Community. We’re very pleased to announce that we are lifting the non-disclosure obligations under the Non-Disclosure Agreement you agreed to as of today, Wednesday, July 8!
What does this mean? Once the non-disclosure is lifted, you’ll be free to share your experiences in the beta. This includes in-person discussions as well as online. Later today we’ll be opening the beta forums for read-only access to the non-beta public.
Please keep a few things in mind when posting:
• The beta forums will remain open throughout the remainder of the beta, for beta players to discuss topics that may be better suited for the more limited beta audience. This is still the only place to post your feedback, as it will not be collected on the live forums!
• Please remember that although the non-disclosure is lifted, we are still in beta, are still collecting feedback, and still making changes and tweaks.Again, thanks for everyone’s participation and help in making DDO Unlimited a fun and polished experience!
Great news! I’ll try to post links to some of the more important information later today.
